Anthropic has rolled out a fresh set of Claude tools aimed squarely at financial advisors, according to a report from TechRadar. The additions are designed to bring AI directly into the working environment of wealth management professionals, connecting the model to the spreadsheets, portfolio holdings and customer relationship management (CRM) systems that advisors depend on — and, per the report, more beyond that.
The move is notable for where it places Claude: not as a standalone chat interface, but as a layer threaded through the everyday tooling of advisory work. A financial advisor's day is fragmented across disconnected systems — client records live in a CRM, allocations and performance sit in portfolio software, and analysis happens in spreadsheets. Tools built specifically for that workflow, rather than a general-purpose assistant, suggest Anthropic is tuning the product for the realities of the role.
The release also fits a broader pattern of Claude being pushed further into specialised, vertical use cases rather than staying confined to general chat. Financial services is a demanding arena for AI deployment: it is data-heavy, precision-sensitive and tightly regulated, and advisors typically cannot risk hallucinated outputs touching client portfolios.
