Narrative intelligence firm PeakMetrics unveiled a monitoring service that measures how generative AI platforms portray brands and pinpoints the online sources shaping those answers.
Narrative intelligence company PeakMetrics Inc. has launched a monitoring service designed to show companies how they are portrayed inside the answers of leading generative artificial intelligence platforms. The offering, unveiled on September 17, 2026, is called AI Perceptions. Beyond measuring brand portrayal, the service identifies the online sources that shape those portrayals, giving communications teams a window into the material feeding AI-generated responses.
AI Perceptions tracks answers produced by five prominent generative AI platforms. Among them are OpenAI Group PBC's ChatGPT, Google LLC's Gemini, Anthropic PBC's Claude and xAI Corp.'s Grok. For each platform in its coverage set, the service measures how a given brand is depicted and then traces the depiction back to the online sources that influenced it, according to the company's announcement.
The launch extends PeakMetrics' narrative intelligence work onto a new surface: the responses that chatbots deliver when users ask about companies. AI Perceptions treats those responses as a measurable reputation signal. For each of the five platforms it monitors, the service both scores how a brand is portrayed and surfaces the online sources that shape that portrayal, connecting an AI-generated answer back to the underlying material that produced it.
For brands, the practical proposition is direct: know what ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Grok and the other covered platforms say about you, and know which online sources are driving those answers. By pairing portrayal measurement with source attribution, AI Perceptions positions PeakMetrics to serve organizations that want to manage their reputations not only across traditional coverage but also inside the AI-generated answers their audiences now read.
